The 2022 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Jardin du Calvaire suffered in the dry conditions, and it was matured in a recently acquired foudre from Tonnellerie Rousseau; taken together, that lends the wine a more exotic profile than usual, with aromas redolent of musky peach, mandarin oil and honeycomb, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and expansive palate with a sweet core of fruit.
