An equally fresh if more restrained nose grudgingly reveals its aromas of red cherry, pungent earth, soft spice wisps and a dollop of wood. There is both good energy and richness to the moderately dense middleweight flavors that possess fine length on the slightly warm finale. This could use better depth as well so at least some cellaring is strongly recommended.
